First Fitting: 1 Hour Appointment

​Having shoes and the exact undergarments, you will wear on your wedding day at the first and every fitting is a must. This is important as they can affect the fit of your dress.  

If you forget your shoes, there will be an additional charge of £30.00 for another fitting because this requirement is necessary.

Communication is Key

​ I always recommend that a bride-to-be needs to communicate and address the preference of fit. This will ensure the dress is comfortable and looks flawless. Any concerns need to be addressed.

Dress Fitting Pinning Session

​Your wedding dress fittings ensure that your gown is tailored precisely to your shape (sculpted) and height. The first fitting is the essential fitting called the "pinning session". This is key as it will indicate all the sewing work required to make your dress perfect and flawless.

Many brides-to-be are nervous and anxious about their first fitting, but it's an exhilarating moment when the bride falls in love with her gown all over again.

A well-fitted gown should support and shape the bust, accentuate and compliment the body's shape and be hemmed to perfection.

Interim Fitting

​On some occasions, if this dress has to be recut and remade or complex alterations are required, an interim fitting is booked.
​

Final Fitting and Collection

​We recommend you wear as little make-up as possible as it can be easily transferred onto the dress.

You are welcome to bring hair accessories and jewellery to your final fitting to see your vision before the big day.
This is how I teach you and your wedding entourage to put on the dress correctly and bustle up the train. This will ensure no wardrobe malfunctions, dress sitting in the wrong place (causing discomfort), and troubleshooting concerns. You will need help dressing and undressing on the day, so this process helps keep you calm.

Useful information

• A deposit of £30 is required to secure an appointment; this will be deducted from the final cost.
• If the dress is required in under five to six weeks before the wedding, a surcharge will be applied, a rush fee of £75.00 
• We supply high-quality bust cups, charged at £15 a pair.
• We can accommodate up to 3 guests per dress fitting, so feel free to bring someone along.
